Another important thing to keep in mind as you power through the writing process is to keep reading. Not only will reading improve your vocabulary and literacy, it can also help give you ideas and show you how a published story should be pieced together. After all, most books these days are 1% pure creativity, 99% recycled processes and ideas. The more you read, the more your brain learns how to use these processes to you and your book's advantage!
